Gerald
R. Salerno

Mr. Salerno was born in New
York, on June 10, 1960. He was admitted to the Bar in 1985, New
Jersey and U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey; U.S. Supreme
Court; U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit.
Education: Mr. Salerno received his undergraduate degree from
Seton Hall University (B.A., Magna Cum Laude) in 1982. He obtained
his law degree from Georgetown University (J.D.) in 1985. He served
as Law Clerk to the Honorable Charles R. DiGisi, Superior Court,
from 1985 to 1986.
Appointments: Mr. Salerno has served as Prosecutor for the
Borough of Wood-Ridge as well as for the Borough of Oradell. He has
been the acting Public Defender for the Borough of Montvale since
1989 and the Zoning Board of Adjustment Attorney for the Borough of
Upper Saddle River since 2000. In addition he has represented the
Borough of Lodi as Special Planning Board Counsel in complex
redevelopment matters.
Member: Mr. Salerno is a trustee and treasurer of the Bergen
County Bar Association, a member of the New Jersey State and
American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Association of
Trial Lawyers of America, National Association of Criminal Defense
Lawyers, Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey,
Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA).

Torres v. Travelers Indemnity Corp. 171 N.J. 147 (2002).
Practice Areas: Mr. Salerno primarily focuses in the areas of
Complex Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Criminal Law,
Municipal Law, Zoning, Land Use, and Commercial Real Estate
Transactions. He recently obtained 2 successful jury verdicts in
excess of 2 million dollars on behalf of commercial clients.
