Richard H. Weiner

Mr. Weiner was born in New York on April 17, 1958. He was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar Associated in 1983, U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey and U.S. Supreme Court.

Education: He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland (B.A.) in 1980 and his law degree from Hofstra University (J.D.) in 1983. He performed his Judicial Clerkship for the Honorable Edward J. Van Tassel, Superior Court, Bergen County from 1983 to 1984.

Appointments: He is the lone Bergen County appointee to the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee; Past President of the Bergen County Bar Association; Appointed Chairman, Bench-Bar Liaison Committee; He had been appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey, Office of Attorney Ethics, to serve as Chairman of District Fee Arbitration Committee, Bergen County; Appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to the Committee of Character; Appointed to the National Legal Committee for the Equipment Leasing Association (ELA); Previously appointed to the Executive Committee of the State Bar Association, Family Part; He has also been recognized by the Outstanding Lawyers of America as well as one of the Super Lawyers of New Jersey 2005 through 2008. Mr. Weiner is also a frequent seminar speaker for the Equipment Lease Finance Association (ELFA) and the National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA).

Member: Mr. Weiner is a member of the Bergen County and New Jersey State Bar Associations; Trial Attorneys of New Jersey; the Association of the Trial Lawyers of America; Eastern Association of Equipment Lessors (Member, Equipment Lease Litigation Section); Equipment Lease Association (ELA).
